1. The service

DUKOU AI (https://dukou.ai) is an LLM API aggregation and relay platform for developers. It forwards requests through a unified API to upstream model providers' official APIs or other explicitly authorized channels.
Registration is invite-only: a valid invite code is required, and email verification must be completed before creating API keys or topping up.
We do not provide the service through web-session accounts, shared cookies, or reverse-engineered endpoints, and we never hide model downgrades or channel switches.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. Keep your credentials and keys safe; if a key leaks, revoke it and change your password immediately.
An API key's plaintext is shown only once at creation; the platform stores only an irreversible hash and cannot recover the plaintext.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, payment disputes, or security risks; a suspended account can still log in to view its balance and billing.

Credits are denominated in US dollars (USD), prepaid and deducted by actual token usage per request; each request settles at the price snapshot taken when it starts.
When a request starts, the maximum possible cost is reserved from your balance; when it ends, it settles on actual usage and the difference is released.
Credits are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and cannot be used for third-party payments; they can only be spent on DUKOU AI services.
Prices may change; changes apply to requests started after the change and are never applied retroactively to completed requests.

Top-ups are processed by Stripe and support card, Alipay, and WeChat Pay; funds are always credited in USD. If a payment method settles in a currency other than USD, the Stripe payment page shows the converted amount using Stripe's exchange rate.
Refunds cover the unspent portion only and are always returned to the original payment method; spent amounts are not refundable.
To request a refund, contact us via the address below; refund arrival times depend on the payment channel.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback; abusive chargebacks lead to account suspension.

Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to generate or distribute unlawful or harmful content.
You must comply with the usage policies of the upstream model providers you call; service restrictions caused by violating upstream policies are your own responsibility.
Do not conduct penetration testing, load testing, scraping, or other activity that affects service stability without prior written permission.
Do not resell or share API keys, or otherwise make the service available to unauthorized third parties.

We work hard to keep the service stable, but the availability, output quality, and latency of upstream model providers are not fully within our control; the service is provided “as is”.
For any indirect loss caused by service interruptions, upstream failures, or model output, our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the most recent three months.

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be announced on the site or by email, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
